SUPERNOVA: Rising Star is co-presented by the Office of Student Affairs and University Campus Infrastructure and organised by NUS Students’ Union and Cultural Activities Club. SUPERNOVA is an annual electrifying music and dance festival-like outdoor event which consists of concerts and performances put on by a variety of groups. Supernova gives student performers the chance to show off their talents from live music showcasing a variety of genres, including hip-hop, rock, and pop, to dance performances. Supernova serves as a platform for students to come together and  better appreciate the cultural scene and celebrate the talents of students in NUS.
