Hearing from some of our SSAs
- short testimonials -

"Conversations about suicide are never easy, but that does not mean that we should stop talking about it. We are grateful to have the support from NUSSU Rag and Flag by raising awareness and funds for our cause. The team’s effort and hard work that went into the event planning is really heartening and much appreciated by the organization."

"AWWA is into our 50th year of serving children with special needs, people with disabilities, youths, seniors and less privileged families. It has been a joy and pleasure to have worked with NUS students from NUSSU Rag & Flag. Not only did they help to raise funds for AWWA, they also seek to learn and understand more about AWWA’s services and needs in order to craft a volunteering programme that will benefit our beneficiaries, and spent meaningful time with our beneficiaries."

“The NUSSU Rag and Flag has been supporting the Autism Resource Centre for the past few years. Although each year it is a different team, we experience the same highly passionate spirit and enthusiasm for our autism cause. We are grateful and privileged for their efforts in promoting inclusion for the special needs community!”

"Over the years, we have collaborated with NUS BizAd’s Rag & Flag Day Committee and they have been a valuable resource in providing a caring service to the beneficiaries under our care through the provision of hands-on activities and outdoor visits such as batik painting, visits to various gardens & farm, and holding mini carnivals. The social impact on our beneficiaries, the volunteers themselves and our society as a whole will be a lasting one and we hope to continue working together with the Organising Committee in future."
We believe in the spirit of giving back to society, embracing one of our hall's values of paying it forward! Through our fundraising efforts and meaningful SSA engagement activities, we hope that these would make a positive difference in their lives.
With the combined efforts of both freshmen and seniors, together with the camaraderie forged along the way, we aim to put up a memorable performance and to raise more funds for our SSAs.
Keeping the spirit of giving, and desire to make a difference that goes beyond one-off volunteer services in mind, Arts Flag this year is dedicated in making a cause for a change!
