BIZCOMMNUSSU Business Committee

National University of Singapore Students’ Union Business Committee is the marketing wing of the Union. As NUSSU’s primary fundraiser, Bizcom garners corporate sponsorships for the Union, and acts as the face of NUSSU to the corporate world. Bizcom comprises a dynamic team that is passionate and committed. Through the many Bizcom signature projects, Bizcommers take with them memories of friendships forged and an experience of a lifetime.

commITNUSSU Committee for Information Technology

NUSSU Committee for Information Technology (commIT) is a committee under the service wing of the Students' Union. NUSSU commIT provides IT services to the NUS community at our two computer clusters in NUS Kent Ridge Campus; one at the Yusof Ishak House and the other at NUS Central Library. NUSSU commIT Yusof Ishak House is located at the third level of Yusof Ishak House, with a main cluster of 30 PCs and a smaller cluster of 15 PCs for student usage.

IRCNUSSU International Relations Committee

NUSSU IRC aims to bring all these students together and promote interaction among these international students and the local students. NUSSU IRC serves as the face of the union between the international students by amplifying their voices and feedback to the Union. Not only that, NUSSU IRC also serves to promote the Union and its events inside the international students’ community to raise their awareness and participation in Union Events.

PRUNUSSU Public Relations Unit

The NUSSU Public Relations Unit aims to promote and develop relations between the Union and the undergraduate population in NUS as the relations wing of the Union. The key events organised by the committee include NUSSU Bash, Students' Leaders Camp and NUS Open Day in collaboration with NUS Offices.

The RidgeNUSSU The Ridge

THE RIDGE is the largest student-run editorial team in the National University of Singapore, and a committee under the National University of Singapore Students’ Union. Their flagship publication, THE RIDGE Magazine, is published bi-semesterly in August, October, January and March. 4,000 copies are distributed around Kent Ridge Campus and Bukit Timah Campus. SAVENUSSU Students Against Violation of the Earth

NUSSU SAVE (Students Against Violation of the Earth) is the main environmental student organization in NUS. Strongly supported by the NUS Administration, they are at the forefront of advocating environmental awareness, initiating impactful environmental programmes, and promoting environmental stewardship in NUS and beyond to mitigate global climate change. The committee aims to raise awareness of Man’s ethical responsibility towards the environment and his community, and the need for a more sustainable lifestyle change.

Students' FundNUSSU Students' Fund

The NUSSU Students' Fund (NUSSF) is a standing committee under the NUS Students’ Union (NUSSU). It was established by the 15th Union Council in 1993 with Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong as patron. NUSSF started disbursing its bursary awards to needy students and has continued to do so ever since. The year 2010 brought about a change in name to NUSSU Students’ Fund, as well as a revamp of its Bursary Awards in order to better suit the changing student population. The year 2010 will mark the 18th year of the establishment of NUSSF.

VPCNUSSU Video and Photographic Committee

The NUSSU Video and Photographic Committee provides the NUS student population with a low cost alternative for event coverage in both photo and videography, hence lightening the burden for student group and organizations to hire for external photographers or videographers with a higher cost. As a committee under the Union, VPC covers various Union events such as Union Camp and photo shoots for the Council annually.

NVACNUSSU Volunteer Action Committee

NUSSU Volunteer Action Committee (NVAC) is a wholly student-driven volunteer organisation under the umbrella of the National University of Singapore. Established in 1990 with the initial aim of providing an avenue for undergraduates to volunteer their time to help the less fortunate in society, NVAC has since grown to become a leading student volunteer organisation in Singapore. Today, NVAC has more than 350 dedicated and committed volunteers who carry out a range of regular volunteering programmes, special community events as well as overseas humanitarian missions.

Welfare CommitteeNUSSU Welfare

NUSSU Welfare is a standing committee under the welfare cell of the Union. Constantly reinventing itself to serve NUS students better. The committee initiates and organizes projects and events that help to improve and enrich students’ university experience. Currently, the committee consists of three main projects: Freshmen Welfare, Semester Welfare and Exam Welfare. With a tagline of “Making You Smile”, NUSSU Welfare aims to provide a better, meaningful and tangible welfare to the whole NUS student population.
